Don't burn cash this Winter

SAVE £300 off the cost off a boiler this winter under the Government's ‘Warm Front' initiative.

Simon Booth - Don't Burn Money

That's the message from heating specialist AquaCare, the property services and maintenance arm of Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water.

The rebate is available to people aged 60 or over who own or privately rent their home and either have no heating system or one which is inoperable.

According to AquaCare, many householders will end up wasting energy and money this winter because of old and poorly maintained boilers and heating systems.

It claims annual fuel costs can be cut by more than a third by installing a new boiler.*

Simon Booth, AquaCare's Managing Director, said: "One of the biggest causes of high fuel bills and energy inefficiency comes from old boilers, generally those more than 15 years old.

"All modern boiler systems are more energy efficient and use less fuel to run. The most efficient boilers in terms of saving money are called condensing boilers which use 30 to 40 per cent less fuel."

AquaCare is a registered boiler installer under the Warm Front Heating Rebate Scheme.

The company employs its own fully qualified and experienced heating engineers covering Dorset and Hampshire.

Editor's Note: AquaCare, which is based in Christchurch, is the property services and maintenance business of Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water (BWHW). In February, the company doubled in size after BWHW acquired gas installation and maintenance firm Pre-Heat Ltd for an undisclosed sum. Together the enlarged business, which continues to trade under separate names, has an annual turnover in excess of £9 million and employs 120 staff. The majority are directly employed gas engineers and plumbers.
